Julina Quandry
A Message to all remaining clients of the Lovely Julina Quandry in OSGrid:
As you will be aware by now, Julina Quandry is retiring from the region rental business in OSGrid due to RL becoming too busy to continue. She has expressed a desire that her last remaining clients retain their regions and service without disruption, and without financial penalty.
I have known Julina for several years and I have her in high regard as a person and as a sysadmin. We share the same passion for Opensim and virtual worlds in general. I am committed to my clients old and new, and to the Opensim community as a whole. Masala Estates will be delighted to welcome those remaining clients of Julina Quandry who would like to avail themselves of this offer. For those of you who do so, Julina and I will work together in order to transfer your regions from her servers to my servers with minimal disruption between 30 October and 1 November.
Region locations, sizes, contents, prim allocations and most settings will remain the same. Your old landmarks will still work. Custom region settings will be preserved. You will retain god mode.
Those of you who have access to your oars via ftp, will receive new ftp credentials. Those of you who pay for double backup will continue to receive this feature, which I will implement for you on my cloud storage.
I have not yet allocated a server for this, so it might be one of my dedicated Ryzen 7 servers in the USA or a dedicated Ryzen 9 server in Germany. A VPS is also available for the one person who has one with Julina, although a change is also possible.
Standard features of my rentals include god mode, automated weekly restarts, three database backups daily, two OARs per week, ftp access if required.
Your rental prices will remain the same, and I have no intention of increasing them at all. I will set up monthly PayPal subscriptions on this page closer to the time so that you can begin paying your rent on November 5 (and on the 5th day of every month after that). For clarity, these are automatic payments.
